Dental Assessment
Before any work can be done, the dentist will perform an examination. Most patients have a Comprehensive Oral Examination done, which is a full assessment of all areas. However, there are situations where you have a specific need or are short on time; in which case a more concise exam is performed focusing specifically on the area of your need or concern.
Visual Treatment Plan
The amount of options could be overwhelming. When you are lying in a dental chair, that is not a time and place for these discussions. We prepare a customized plan based on your goals, needs and budget. Our treatments are discussed in a spacious private room where you can see the treatment options on the screen. You’re welcome to bring a family member with you. You will also be provided with a printout copy in case you would like to take it to seek a second opinion. We believe in transparency.
Fees
Like most dentists in Newmarket, our fees follow the Ontario Dental Association guide and reflect the quality of care you receive, as well as the training and education in which our team has invested. It helps patients like you that our Patient Care Specialists will work with you to prioritize your treatment according to your unique needs, goals, dental coverage, and financial situation.
Our dentists will recommend the treatment you need immediately and what can wait. We can provide a copy of our presentation for more extensive procedures if you want a second opinion or take more time to make your decision. There is never any pressure! We encourage all of our team members to think of patients as family. If we wouldn’t recommend a treatment to a loved one, we won’t recommend it to you.
Payment Terms
Whether you prefer to pay for your treatment at the time of service or have us send the bill directly to your insurance provider, the choice is yours! Some patients like to collect points and rewards on their credit cards. Since we check your coverage in advance, you should have no surprises. Our Patient Care Specialist can also discuss any questions you have regarding fees in our private consultation room.
