Dr. Annie Rodriguez
Cosmetic and Family Dentistry
Dr. Annie Rodrigues is a mom to a little boy named Marco, she loves children and aspires to build a trusting relationship with family members of all ages. Dr. Annie has been a dentist since 2008. She especially enjoys cosmetic and comprehensive family dentistry. Creating a comfortable, caring, and friendly environment is extremely important to Dr. Annie; she places special emphasis on providing her patients with the highest level of service and care.
What Dr. Annie loves most about her career as a dentist is getting to know each patient and their families on a personal level and give them the most enjoyable patient experience. Dr. Annie feels dentistry is such a rewarding profession because it allows her to instill confidence in her patients by enhancing their lives through healthy and beautiful smiles, and helping her patients combat their fears of dentistry.
Dr. Jonathan Martinez Penaloza
Dr. Jonathan Martinez has been a dentist since 2009. He completed a diploma in Aesthetic Concepts in Modern Oral Rehabilitation and a specialization in Oral Surgery (both in Colombia), and is a licensed general dentist in Ontario. He has a niche for Oral Surgery, Implant placements and restorations as well as cosmetic dentistry. Continuing education has been a constant pursuit of his and he is always working to stay up to date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Dr. Jonathan enjoys building solid relationships with patients and helping them maintain a healthy smile for life and is committed to providing the most enjoyable dental experience to all his patients.
Dr. Nohora Martinez
Dr. Nohora Martinez is a licensed general dentist in Ontario. She has been practicing dentistry since 1998, with a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Orthodontics but limits her practice at Oasispark Dental, to Orthodontics. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario and a specialization in Orthodontics (in Colombia).
Dr. Martinez places a strong emphasis on providing care in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere where her patients can feel safe and most importantly enjoy their experience. She is certified in laser dentistry and is a Gold Provider for Invisalign. She continually expands her advanced dental knowledge and education by attending institutes and conferences nationally and internationally.
Dr. Martinez aids, collaborates, and manages complex treatment plans and case presentations with her team of Dentists, through computerized consultation videos, illustrations, digital radiography, Itero digital impression scans, intraoral cameras and digital photography. Together with her team, she organizes patient treatment plans in order of priority, so that patients can rest assured the most crucial areas are addressed based on their needs while still keeping their desires in mind.

Patient Care Specialists
In a traditional dental practice, employees have very defined positions – dental assistant, treatment coordinator, receptionist or manager. Everyone focuses on their tasks, while the patient is passed from one person to another over the course of their visit. If there is a problem, it can be difficult for the patient to know where to turn.
In our practice, we have a one-point of contact. Rather than passing patients from person to person, our team members are trained in all of
the areas of the patient experience. The term Patient Care Specialist was appropriate because it captures the essence of what they do – provide optimal patient care throughout the visit. They greet you at the front, can assist the dentist, discuss and plan treatment, coordinate your dental benefits or external financing. Most importantly, they have the full knowledge of you and can help you to answer any questions or address any concerns. Patient Care Specialist
I have worked in the dental field since 2013 after graduating from Semmelweis University with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree. After graduation, I worked in private practice for several years before permanently moving to Canada. I love helping patients to obtain their perfect smile and maintain a healthy mouth.
Jeisse
Patient Care Specialist
I am a Certified Dental Assistant. I completed level II preventive Dental Assistant Diploma in 2008 at Medix school college, and I am also an active member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association ODAA. I enjoy listening to patients and helping them understand their treatment options.
In my spare time I enjoy dancing and spending time with my family.
Meghan
Patient Care Specialist & Dental Hygienist
Meghan has always aspired to be a Dental Hygienist and fulfilled her dream when she graduated with honours from the Dental Hygiene program at Niagara College in 2014. We are very proud that Meghan was the recipient of the National Leaders in Practice Award in 2018 for her Integrity in the category of Dental Hygiene.
In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, and baseball.

Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in 2013. I completed my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology from the University of Alberta in 2017. I’ve recently graduated from Western University with a Master’s of Public Health. I have a passion for education and lifelong learning.
Michelle
Patient Care Specialist
As a Patient Care Specialist and Team Mentor at Oasispark Dental, she wears many hats.
With close to 20 years of experience working in the dental industry, Michelle has worked in different roles including recall coordinator, dental assistant, receptionist, treatment coordinator and practice management.
When Michelle isn’t working you can find her relaxing beachside in the summer with a great book in hand. On cold winter days you may spot her with a sledge hammer, tearing down walls for her next big home renovation idea.
Samantha
Patient Care Specialist
Samantha is a true dental enthusiast, having graduated as a Level II Certified Dental Assistant from Everest College in 2009. With an impressive 14-year career in the dental field, she has honed her skills as a chairside dental assistant, mastering everything from general procedures to orthodontic and surgical treatments. After 9 years Samantha decided to take on the exciting role of dental administrator, immersing herself in the dynamic aspects of the clinic.
What sets Samantha apart is her passion for patient interaction. She thrives on building strong connections with those in her care, going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Samantha’s adept organizational abilities come to the forefront as she skillfully orchestrates treatment plans, ensuring a smooth and effortless experience for all parties involved.
Beyond the dental realm, Samantha’s world revolves around her loving family. With three beautiful children and a supportive husband, she embraces the joys of family life. Always seeking new adventures, Samantha infuses her days with excitement and embraces every opportunity to create cherished memories with her loved ones.
Maria
Patient Care Specialist
Maria joined the Oasispark Dental team in 2021, a decision she considers life-changing. She values the strong bond with her colleagues, who feel like family. As a Spanish/English patient care specialist, Maria is passionate about building genuine connections with patients and providing exceptional service.
Maria’s commitment to quality care, combined with her multicultural background, allows her to connect deeply with patients. Her compassionate approach fosters trust and comfort at Oasispark Dental, ensuring individualized care for every patient.
With a diverse background in Guatemala and Canada, Maria brings valuable international experience to her role. She returned to Canada in 2021 after studying nursing in Guatemala. Maria is also a devoted wife and mother to two daughters, finding joy in family time and traveling.
Angie
Patient Care Specialist
Angie graduated from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries with Honors as a Dental Hygienist in 2017. Angie has strong passion for dentistry, and she is an active member of the Canadian Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA) and College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario CDHO.
Angie was born in Colombia and has been living in Canada for 12 years. Angie enjoys educating patients through their journey and her understanding nature makes it easy for patients to feel comfortable. Her favourite part of being a hygienist is providing patients the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile. She also loves getting to know her patients and building relationships with them. When Angie is away from work she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, trying out new restaurants and watching movies. Angie is bilingual and can communicate in English and Spanish
Vafa
Patient Care Specialist
As a dedicated dental patient coordinator and dental assistant, Vafa is committed to ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. With 5 years of experience in the field, she possesses a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care protocols.
In addition to her technical skills, Vafa brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. She understands the importance of building trust and rapport with each individual, and she strives to make every visit to the dentist a positive one. Outside of work, Vafa enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new hobbies, and volunteering in the community. She is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success of the dental practice and make a difference in the lives of patients.
